I’ve chosen to write about Pharrell’s song, “That Girl” because I’m big fan of his. Throughout the music video Pharrell seemed to go through approximately seven sets of clothes. The style in most of the outfits he wore consisted a mix of skater, hip-hop, and preppy. Although he’s a hip-pop rapper and producer, his style is unique in comparison to the rest of the industry. Pharrell was also the one first major celebrity to wear the Japanese brand, “BAPE”. In the music video you can see that he sports their -Shirts. BAPE is a concept brand that consists of unique designs and flavor. In the video Pharrell wore BAPE shoes as well as Lacoste polos and designer shades. The impact he’s made in urban outfitting with this new hybrid style is quite significant. It can be said that Pharrell is responsible for the rise in popularity of BAPE.
I love Vampire!
Recently, I have an obsession with Vampire movies. Ever since Twilight came out, I even bought all the books of Twilight saga. Then, I went to rent all the good movies of Vampires. Since I have watched so many movies of Vampires, here are some good ones I would highly recommend to watch.
Twilight
This was a moving photo shoot for Robert Pattison. This film is for girls who dream about having the perfect bad boy who offers them the excitement normal guys do not. And what is a normal guy? According to the masterminds behind this garbage, a normal guy is an annoying, unintelligent, judgmental dumb-wit who has no real attractive features whatsoever. Twilight was full of these types.
Underworld
After Kate Beckinsale’s Seline character got around kicking massive rear in slinky black Lycra, we had Charlize Theron doing the same in Aeon Flux, and coming soon, Milla Jovovich in Ultraviolet. Sexy costumes, menacing weapons and killer moves seem to be the order of the day. It’s no doubt that Underworld would have a sequel, since it was obviously hinted at after the end credits of the original, though it would be three years before it materialized.
Van Helsing
The film is a complete reworking of everything you think you know about all the big guys. Present for your enjoyment are Dracula, the Wolf man, Frankenstein’s monster and a guest appearance by Mr. Hyde. And of course, tying the whole thing together is our hero, Van Helsing (yummily played by Hugh Jackman). Named Abraham in Stoker’s book but called Gabriel in the film, VH doesn’t appear in any book other than Dracula, but in the more than a century since his `birth’ we’ve become accustomed to his presence as the elder statesman of monster killers.

Local Boutique- Ambience San Francisco
Felicia and I went to Haight Street the other day. We kind of decide to browse around and just window shop since the weather was really nice. Then, we saw this small boutique called Ambience ( Later, I saw their funny commercial on TV that day ) . It’s actually a pretty cozy environment for customers like us to shop around inside. There are so many brands carried in the store, such as Free People, French Connection, Betsey Johnson, Kennet Cole Reaction, and etc. Their target customers would be urban women 20 to 35 years old. Although most of the brands doesn’t fit Asian body type well, I still enjoyed shopping around in the store a lot because of the atmosphere they created for customers. Just on little thing…please change the TV commercial about the store!

High Definition Body Lift
I have used this product for four years. For using this product, simply apply with an upward sweeping movent from ankles to waist, and concentrating on the thighs, hips and buttocks. This products is really non-oilly, lightweight, and quickly absorbed. Since I am sensitive skin type, and after I tried so many products in the market, Clarins’s high definition body lift lotion really helped keeping my skin smooth and firm. Highly recommend everyone give it a try!
This product is designed for innovative and intensive cellulite control, and help the release of excess fat, even from the most stubborn parts of our bodies. It minimizes the appearance of cellulite, helps redefine hips and thighs by providing skin with a gentle lifting effect. Also, it smells good, keeps our skin hydrating throughly, and keeps our skin smooth and firm.
Another great product I would highly recommend if you want more than smooth and firm skin is Body Shaping Cream, also from Clarins.

- Sveltonyl (Clarins exclusive complex): refines body contours, firms and tones.
- Bamboo extract: drains, firms.
- Caffeine, Garcinol: contour, refine.

Pet Peeve Post
- I really can’t stand it when people tuck their T-shirt in their jeans or pants (unfortunately my dad is one of them=__=)
- I really don’t like to see bunch of people follow the latest fashion of the season without thinking if that fit them….especially when not so pretty legs with tight tight leggings….
- I don’t like shiny fabric with neon color….remind me of rave perty all the time…
- Animal prints are fine, but 80% of the outfit are animal prints…..hate it!
- Luxury brand products definitely have their quality, but 80% of the outfit are luxury brand products with huge logo or lots of logo on them……I just can’t stand it! (I have seen a woman on the street wear Burberry hat, Louis Vuitton Jacket and purse, and Coach shoes…..=__= Urgh….not so wise!)
Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen, was born in the East End of London, started making dresses for his three sisters at a young age and decided to become a fashion designer. He was born on 17 March 1969. After working for couple of years, he returned to London in 1994. He studied and applied to work as a pattern cutter tutor in London’s most famous fashion school Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Not only he received his Master Degree in Fashion Design, his graduation collection was bought in its entirety by fashion stylist Isabella Blow.
Alexander McQueen is known for his lavish, unconventional runway shows, such as spring 2005’s human chess game and his fall 2006 show, Widows of Culloden, which featured a life-sized hologram of supermodel Kate Moss, dressed in yards of rippling fabric.
Alexander McQueen’s accomplishments include being one of the youngest designers to achieve the title “British Designer of the Year”, which he won four times between 1996 and 2003. December 2000 saw a new partnership for McQueen with Gucci Group acquiring 51% of the company, and McQueen serving as Creative Director. He became the first designer to participate in MAC’s newest promotion: cosmetic releases created by fashion designers. The collection, McQueen, was released on 11 October 2007 and reflects the looks used on the Fall/Winter McQueen runway.
Alexander McQueen, by the end of 2007, had boutiques in New York, London, Los Angeles, Milan, and Las Vegas. Japanese pop superstar Ayumi Hamasaki is one of the many celebrities like Naoumi Tripaati that often wears Alexander McQueen.
To be honest, I simply love him because of his lavish, unconventional runway shows. Also, I love that he always know how to flatter female figure with his design. He is truly an awesome designer!
